Academic Software for Faculty Members

SiS

Student Information System (SiS) is a system where students' academic performance, course registrations, exam grades and other relevant information can be monitored and managed electronically. This system allows faculty to keep student information up to date, manage course schedules, evaluate exams, and provide feedback to students. Faculty members can track student performance, access the information needed to provide academic support, and communicate with students through the Student Information System.

LMS

Learning Management System (LMS) is the platform used to manage and support online education processes, allowing faculty members to easily share course materials, create interactive content and provide students with various learning tools. It also includes functions such as communicating with students, assigning assignments, administering exams, and monitoring student progress. In this way, they can effectively guide students in online education and enrich their learning experience.

Turnitin

It is an online software platform that helps faculty monitor and protect students' academic integrity. It is also used as a tool to ensure originality and promote academic success by providing students with the opportunity to check their written work in advance and correct it when necessary.

You can access the Turnitin platform from within the LMS application.

Distance Education

Distance education tools are platforms that enable faculty members and students to obtain interactive learning experiences and carry out learning-teaching processes in online synchronous and asynchronous environments such as LMS, Zoom, Panopto, Hybrid Class, etc. Distance Education processes are managed by the Learning and Teaching Office (OLTE) at OzU. You can visit the OLTE Website for detailed information.

This application allows faculty members to systematically record their publications, research projects, courses, thesis consultancy, participation in academic meetings and other academic activities and report them to the university's senior administrative boards.

eResearch

eResearch is an academic, open-access repository. It aims to collect, preserve and make scientific outputs available online without any financial, legal or technical restrictions, in order to increase the impact and visibility of the institution and its authors. It was established to support the dissemination of knowledge produced at the university to the wider community, both locally and globally.

Room Reservation

Thanks to this application, our faculty members can view the study rooms in faculty buildings online for activities such as lectures, project work or group work, select the appropriate ones and make reservations for the dates and times they want. You can access the daily calendar by scanning the study room number via the MyOzU camera.

Course Catalog

You can access all courses in the OzU course catalog here. This catalog includes the name, code, description, content, credit value, co-requisite and pre-requisite information of each course. The course catalog provides students with guidance when enrolling or selecting courses. It helps them determine the courses they will take to meet graduation requirements.

Academic Software

These tools are software programs used in various scientific disciplines that help perform operations such as research, analysis, modeling and simulation. They can perform a variety of functions such as statistical data analysis, numerical calculation, data visualization, creating simulations, and performing scientific calculations.
