Welcome to Özyeğin University!

The Information Technologies Unit is the central provider of technology services offered and supported by all OzU users. Our aim is to provide all the technology services, systems and support you will need to carry out academic education and research activities and administrative business execution and development processes. We recommend that all new users of the campus review the priority services listed below that they will need to get started.

User Account

An ÖzÜ user account is opened for all users who start working at our university upon the request of the relevant unit. With your OzU account, you can access many applications and resources within the University. Your user account; It consists of e-mail address and password.

Your account information (e-mail address and user name) is sent to your personal e-mail address that you have declared to the institution through a private IT account. Your password is sent via SMS to your personal mobile phone that you have declared to the institution. After receiving your password MyOzU Mobile You must change it through the application.

You should not share your password with anyone, including university employees.

Wireless Network Usage

Eduroam Wireless Network (Wi-Fi); It is a secure and user-controlled network that allows internet access 7/24. Wireless network access is available to all our users in indoor and outdoor areas on campus. You can log in to this network using Ozu email address and password. You can connect to the Eduroam wireless network with a limited number of devices (computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) at the same time.

Why Eduroam?
Eduroam; It is a shared roaming service that provides secure access to wireless network (Wi-Fi) access from any campus location in Turkey and around the world. After a one-time installation, you can automatically connect to the Eduroam network whenever you are on campus or visit an Eduroam member institution. For Eduroam member universities, you can visit eduroam.org or eduroam.org.tr.

Your email address is in a format specific to your name. is created.

As e-mail infrastructure Google Workspace Education+ service is used. With this infrastructure, you can benefit from many other Google services such as Google Docs, Drive, Calendar.

Your username and password are the same as the user account information sent to your private email address.

Solution Center

Solution Center; It is our center where all requests and complaints regarding the services offered to university users are recorded and support and solutions are provided. You can forward all your questions and problems about the University to the Solution Center, from IT facilities throughout the campus to dining hall, dormitory, cleaning services, ventilation and heating, to transportation services.

MyOzU Web & Mobile

MyOzU mobile application is the corporate notification and communication platform for university stakeholders. It provides access to the transactions and information you need regarding your campus and academic life from a single channel.

You can access all instant notifications and announcements made by the university only through MyOzU. It is important that you regularly follow MyOzU, which is constantly being developed with new features.

You can download the mobile version of MyOzU from the Apple Store and Google Play mobile markets. It also serves as MyOzU Web Portal.

Printing and Copying Services

The Copy Center provides document duplication, printing and binding services for our users. There are printers dedicated to use on academic building floors, as well as in the library, 7/24 study area, and dormitories. You can access the printers by scanning the QR code via the MyOzU mobile application camera.

In order to benefit from printing operations, you must have a printer installed on your computers. In case of problems with both this installation and the printing system, Copy Center or Student Center -3. You can get support from the User Support Office staff on the floor.

Microsoft Office 365

With the cooperation of the University and Microsoft Türkiye, all our users can benefit from the Office 365 platform free of charge. With Office 365, you can access all Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, Teams etc. for free.

To access, use your OzU user account. https://portal.office.com/ Simply log in to and install the Office application on your computer (Windows, MAC).
You can install Office 365 applications on up to 5 devices.

Information Security

Evaluation of information assets at our university in terms of security, confidentiality, integrity and accessibility principles; Meeting security requirements within the framework of legislation, current security risks and security standards such as ISO 27001, TC DDO etc.; Designing the necessary process for processing information assets with secure methods; for periodic inspection and continuous improvement. The Information Security Office guides the University processes in meeting the requirements regarding information security and Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) compliance.

In case of damage to a device or equipment containing information belonging to the University, unauthorized access, cyber attack, spam e-mail notification, disclosure of confidential information, personal data breach, and your questions, requests or suggestions on Information Security and KVKK. VPN

A VPN basically opens an encrypted tunnel from where your computer is physically located to the university network. The information transmitted through this tunnel cannot be viewed from the outside because it is encrypted. This makes your network connection safe from attacks.

Applications, resources and systems hosted by the university are not accessible from outside the campus due to information security measures. To access these resources and systems, you must first connect to the University network via VPN.
