OzU IT Unit is available to provide you with advice and support on information technology issues throughout your time at the university. 1) Before You Start Read Section
For our students who are new to the campus, Before You Start We recommend that you review the priority services listed on the page.
2) Get a Laptop
It is very important for OzU students to have a laptop that meets the minimum hardware requirements. If you are unsure about computer configuration or need help with guidance, you can get support from the IT department. 3) Get a User Account
Your ÖzÜ user account is your personal account that will give you access to many ÖzÜ applications, services and resources. Your user account consists of an email address and password. This account will be automatically created by Student Services during university registration, and your account information will be sent to the dedicated email address you provided during registration. We strongly recommend that you change your password via MyOzU Mobile after receiving it.
Things to Consider When Setting a Password
You should not share your password with anyone, including university members.
4) Install a Multi-Factor Authentication App
OzU students are required to use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), an additional layer of security, to verify user accounts via their smartphones.
MFAYour ÖzÜ user account will be automatically activated when you create it. You can easily install the application by following the instructions you'll receive when you first access your ÖzÜ email address.
5) Set up your email
Once you've created your ÖzÜ user account, you can immediately start using your personalized email address. Your username and password are the same as the user account information sent to your personalized email address.
You can log in to your ÖzÜ E-Mail account using your user account information through a browser or e-mail application.
OzU offers free courses to its students Google Workplace Education+ part of the package Google Mail Recommends them to use the application.
As part of the Google Workspace Education+ Service, you can also benefit from many other Google services such as Google Drive and Google Calendar.
You can continue to use your email address after graduation.
6) Connect to Wireless Network (Eduroam)
Eduroam Wireless Network (Wi-Fi); It is a secure and user-controlled network that allows internet access 7/24. Wireless network access is available to all our students in indoor and outdoor areas on campus. You can log in to this network using your Essence user account information. You can connect to the Eduroam wireless network with 5 devices (computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) at the same time.
7) Install MyOzU Mobile App
MyOzU mobile application is the corporate notification and communication platform for all university members. It provides access to the transactions and information you need regarding your campus and academic life from a single channel.
Faculty, Department and Student Services etc. to which you are affiliated.You can access all instant notifications and announcements made by university units only through MyOzU. It is important that you regularly follow MyOzU, which is constantly being developed with new features.
You can download the mobile version of MyOzU from the Apple Store and Google Play mobile markets. It also serves as MyOzU Web Portal.
8) Examine Learning Supporting Software
As the Information Technologies Department, we offer various software to support the academic success of our students. These software can help you better understand course materials, conduct your research projects more easily, and improve your skills. These software include important tools such as Student Information System (SiS), Learning Management System (LMS), Office365 and Google Workspace Education+.

9) Protect your account, devices and data
We strongly recommend that our students take precautions to protect their accounts, personal data and all other information assets. For detailed information about these measures, see below. More You can access it by clicking the link.

10) Load Credits for Printing & Copying
An efficient and controllable system with security standards available for the use of the university, academic/administrative staff and students. Printing and Copying Service It offers.
MyOzu for Printers Access is provided by scanning the QR code via the mobile application camera.
You can securely load the credits required for your printing and copying transactions online using your Credit Card.
The credit loading application only provides service from the campus network and VPN access is required for remote connection loading.
