At OzU Çekmeköy Main Campus, redundant symmetrical fiber internet access service at an instantaneous speed of 4 Gbps is offered to all our students, academics and staff. The Internet on the backbone is accessible from all ends in dormitory rooms, libraries, classrooms and laboratories.
Campus Local Network
OzU has created a fast, scalable and manageable wired & wireless network infrastructure to ensure that all its users can access information in the fastest and most continuous way. Wireless network access points that are operational at all times in Çekmeköy – Altunizade – Swiss Hotel campuses support the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard.
Google Workspace for Education+
In cooperation with Google, Özyeğin University offers Google Workspace for Education+ tools to all its users to improve learning and teaching and facilitate communication and collaboration. This service e-mailIt includes basic tools such as calendar, Drive and Meet, as well as education-oriented features such as Google Classroom and Scholar.

All our users We offer comprehensive antivirus service to protect your computers and networks against viruses, spyware and other online threats. We focus on creating a secure network environment across the campus, from antivirus software installation to firewall management, from updates to data backup.
Server & Web Hosting
It is our powerful, reliable and uninterrupted server and web hosting service offered to all academic and administrative units, clubs, study and project groups operating within OzU to host the websites, applications or other online content needed.
Backup
It is our infrastructure service that enables the software and stored data running on the server systems in OzU Data Center to be restored in case of a possible disaster and to access old data in case of need. Our backups are stored in locations on and off campus in accordance with relevant security legislation and standards.
Telephone Switchboard & Cabling
Our university's telephone communication infrastructure is configured with VOIP technology. We provide VoIP telephone installation and maintenance support to all our offices and employees throughout the campus. In addition, in campus construction projects for modern and functional cabling of the local network infrastructure of buildings We offer comprehensive cabling design, guidance and expert support at every stage of the project.

Wireless Network (Wi-Fi); It is a secure and user-controlled network that allows internet access 7/24. Wireless network access is available to all our staff in indoor and outdoor areas on campus. You can log in to this network using Ozu email address and password. Eduroam You can connect 5 devices (computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) to the wireless network at the same time.
Step by step settings
Eduroam; It is a shared roaming service that provides secure access to wireless network (Wi-Fi) access from any campus location in Turkey and around the world. After a one-time installation, you can automatically connect to the Eduroam network whenever you are on campus or visit an Eduroam member institution. VPN, basically opens an encrypted tunnel from where your computer is physically located to the university network. The information transmitted through this tunnel cannot be viewed from the outside because it is encrypted. This makes your network connection safe from attacks.
Applications, resources and systems hosted by the university are not accessible from outside the campus due to information security measures. To access these resources and systems, you must first connect to the University network via VPN.
